Meet Maggie Leithead
Maggie Leithead is President and Chief Executive Officer of CharityVillage Ltd. and Webmaster of CharityVillage.com. She oversees the daily operations of the company.
Maggie has been online since the mid-1980s. She has been using computers since she spent her lemonade stand profits to buy her first Commodore Vic 20 in 1981. Since then, she has developed interactive displays for museum exhibits, built web sites, and played several thousand games of Tetris.
Prior to joining CharityVillage, Maggie was Associate Editor of Canadian FundRaiser. She has also worked as publicist and contributor to several publications about Canada's marine heritage.
Maggie is frequently called on to speak about nonprofit sector issues at national conferences and workshops, and in the media.
